Intel CEO Brian Krzanich announced Monday his resignation from President Donald Trump‘s American Manufacturing Council. He becomes the latest executive to depart the council in the wake of the tragedy in Virginia.
In a blog post, Krzanich said he was committed to supporting America’s manufacturing base but objected to Washington’s response to the violent protests in Charlottesville, which culminated in the death of a woman. Without mentioning the president by name, he criticized those more interested in attacking critics than focusing on making progress.
