Bebo’s video messaging app Blab is now available for download in the App Store

In July 2013, entrepreneur Michael Birch spent $1 million to buy back Bebo, a company he founded and sold to AOL for $595 million. Subsequently in February this year, the company announced the debut of its video messaging service Blab. Now, after gathering 775,000 people on the waiting list, Blab is available for download in Apple’s App Store. The Android version is coming soon. Messaging apps are all the rage right now, especially given Facebook’s recent $19 billion deal to acquire WhatsApp, and Blab is seeking to stand out in an increasingly crowded space with its emphasis on video messaging. …read more
